Dr Trish BakerDr Trish Baker MBBS, Dip. Dermoscopy, FRACGP and FAICD

Trish is an experienced GP with particular interests in Women's Health, Skin Cancer Medicine and Chronic Health conditions. She has a long commitment to improving health outcomes through working with a well-connected, multidisciplinary team of health professionals. Trish is a clinical Senior Lecturer with the University of Queensland. She has worked innovatively to establish a cohesive group focused on health promotion and disease prevention in her local area.


Dr Megan KennedyDr Megan Kennedy MBBS FRACGP

Megan is an experienced GP and GP Supervisor with broad interests including Indigenous Health, Mental Health, Skin Cancer Medicine and Women's Health. Megan's non-medical interests include her family, fencing, general knowledge and books, usually of the more literary genres.



Dr Kathy WilliamsDr Kathy Williams MBChB, FRACGP, Grad Cert Clinical Education

Kathy trained in medicine in Leicester in the UK, before relocating to Australia in 1996. She is a local GP with extensive experience in Child Health, Emergency Medicine and Indigenous Health. Prior to moving to Brisbane, she worked in the Northern Territory with the Royal Flying Doctors for several years.

Kathy is a member of the Faculty of Special Interests as a Medical Educator, both of medical students and GP registrars. She teaches procedural and clinical skills, and examines clinical skills for the Royal Australian College of GPs and the Australian Medical Council. Kathy is also a Director for the Advanced Paediatric Life Support course for hospital and community doctors, and teaches regularly on the Remote Emergency Skills Training course for remote and rural GPs.

Kathy lives locally and out of work spends time with her husband and two children and enjoys cooking, swimming and sewing. 


Dr Sarangi RatnayakeDr Sarangi Ratnayake MBBS (with honours), AMC and FRACGP

Dr Ratnayake joined the team at Medicine on Blackwood in May, 2017. Her qualifications include MBBS (with honours), AMC and FRACGP was completed in 2015.

DR Ratnayake’s special interests include Womens’ Health, Chronic Disease treatment, Mental Health along with all other areas of General Practice.

Having practised in Gladstone for the past 5 years, Dr Ratnayake along with her husband and two children, have settled into their new life in Brisbane.

When Dr Ratnayake finds a little spare time she loves to go swimming and partake in meditation.

Dr Ratnayake has appointments available from 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and 8.30am to 1.00pm Wednesdays.


Dr Courtney AshfordDr Courtney Ashford BSc, MBBS and FRACGP

Dr Ashford will be joining the team at Medicine on Blackwood and Keperra Family Practice in mid-July 2018.

Her qualifications include BSc, MBBS and FRACGP which she completed in 2017.

Dr Ashford’s special interests include Children’s health, Women Health and Dermatology, however having practiced rurally in Roma for the past few years, she enjoys all areas of General Practice.

Dr Ashford spent most of her schooling years in The Gap but did most of her medical training in country Victoria, Central and South West Queensland. She recently got married and has moved back to the area with her two chickens in tow!

In her free time Dr Ashford likes to dance, travel and bake.

Jenny's nursing interests are Paediatrics, Baby and Family Care, Immunisation and Travel Medicine. Outside of work she enjoys camping, cooking, coffee and bushwalking.

Sue is an experienced manager with a background in administration before coming to General Practice. Sue has a passion for arts and craft when not working. She is a quilting enthusiast, a painter, enjoys sewing and shares these interests with her many friends.
